Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers,"" which premieres Sunday evening on the Ovation the cable channel. The show focuses on their work as art brokers, who connect artists, collectors and buyers. Four episodes were created by the couple, and will be on air throughout the month beginning on October 4th, starting at 7 pm Central. Ovation has more than 50MM customers. They also provide support to artists through the OvationDigital Arts network. The two hope to soon get the green signal to film more. My life has been shaped by my Baylor friends and acquaintances I've met. Karen Pope, Art History Department. My major classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also went with her to Chicago and Paris to learn about art. Her enthusiasm for art made it a lot of fun. She also said that "Art History is like a puzzle. And as art historians, we always keep trying to find the pieces that fit together." My family was brought up in the automotive business by my father, and was required to work at the dealership in the summer. I was a mechanic assistant during the summer months, changing oil and brakes.
