Kyra Minturn
Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19, 1965. She is an American producer and actress. She is most famous for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was honored with an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The show ended after its seventh season. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring character as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992) as well as Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII, a speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian as well as of English origin. Sedgwick has announced that she's Jewish and is a part of Passover dinners.
