Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in the United States is an actor as well as a writer, producer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) Coyote Ugly(2000) and The Cooler(2003), A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Grown Ups2010, Prisoners2013 and Lights Out (2016) are some of her films. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy, a school nurse and teacher and Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello pursued a degree in the field of political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by participating in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello published a blog in November of 2013 about her identical-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is Love: Questioning the Labels We Give Ourselves (Dey Street Books 28 April 2015)
